Indigitous #HACK 2026 · Game Jam

North Texas Game Jam.

SOVEREIGNify

A game-dev-led #HACK Game Jam where veterans from AAA and indie studios build, mentor, and judge alongside you — making things that reach the gaming world for good. For developers, artists, designers, writers, and audio folks. One Friday evening, one Saturday, one prototype that matters.

Mark 16:15 — “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.”

Go into gaming and preach the gospel to the players you already play with.

01 · The jam

Your world is your gaming community.

For millions of people, a guild or a lobby is their most honest community. The North Texas Game Jam is a chance to build for them — a weekend where developers, artists, designers, writers, and audio creators ship a game or a tool that meets people right where they already play.

North Texas is full of people who have shipped real games — Playful Studios alumni, SMU Guildhall talent, and working developers from AAA and indie studios who know both the craft and the culture. They’re in the room as your mentors and judges: every team demos to veteran game developers and walks away with real, honest feedback — so what you build here is genuinely good, not just good-for-a-weekend. Pick a track, build with heart and craft, and let’s make something that matters.

02 · Call for code

Guard. Gateway. Gather. Go.

Four tracks, one journey — from protecting the vulnerable, to opening the door to Jesus, to gathering real community, to sending it into the wider Kingdom and the local church. Choose one, form a team, and ship a prototype by judging night. This is your Mark 16:15.

TRACK 01 · GUARD

Guard the Vulnerable

For a lot of kids, a game lobby is where they're most alone — and most exposed. Grooming, harm, and quiet despair slip past because no one is watching the right moment.

BUILD › a safety helper, a report-and-triage flow, or a private support nudge that reaches a hurting player in time.
TRACK 02 · GATEWAY

Open Gospel Gateways

Most gamers will never walk into a church — but they'll pour thousands of hours into games, servers, and streams. The gospel has to meet them there, woven in and never bolted on.

BUILD › an in-game moment, a Discord or community feature, a streamer/creator tool, or a seeker-friendly onboarding that opens a real conversation.
TRACK 03 · GATHER

Build Kingdom Communities

Christian gaming spaces are scattered, hard to find, and easy to outgrow. Believers need communities worth staying in — where they're discipled, mentored, and sent to serve other players with wisdom, truth, and love.

BUILD › a community or league platform, a discipleship + mentor toolkit, or discovery tools that connect a player to the right guild.
TRACK 04 · GO

Connect the Kingdom Network

Gaming outreaches mostly work alone, and online relationships rarely cross into real life. The Kingdom goes further when they're linked — to each other, and to the local church.

BUILD › a bridge between outreaches, or a digital-to-real flow into a local church, youth group, or meetup.

03 · Imagine building

Not sure what to make? Picture this.

A weekend prototype, not a finished product. These fit the four tracks — start from one, or bring your own.

  • GUARDA Discord bot that quietly flags when someone might need encouragement.
  • GATEWAYA co-op game that sparks honest gospel conversations — naturally.
  • GATHERA tool that helps a Christian gamer find their local community.
  • GOA flow that turns an online squad into a real-world meetup or church group.

04 · The weekend

One evening, one build day, one judging night.

Compact enough to fit a busy life, long enough to ship something real. Prayer opens and closes the build — this is missions, not just a jam. Exact times land with the venue.

05 · Register

Reserve your free spot.

Capacity is capped to keep the mentoring real. Sign-ups open soon — join the SOVEREIGNify Discord to lock in the date, venue, and your spot the moment registration goes live.

When and where is it?

North Texas — the McKinney / Anna area — on a Friday evening plus Saturday in Fall 2026, aligned with Indigitous's global #HACK October launch. The exact date and venue are being locked now and will be announced here and to everyone registered.

Who can join?

Anyone who wants to build something good for the gaming world — developers, designers, artists, writers, and storytellers of every skill level. You do not need to be a professional or a Christian to participate; you just need to want to build.

How much does it cost?

Free. Registration is capped so the room stays a real, mentored experience, so reserve your spot early.

Do I need a team or an idea?

No. Come solo or bring friends — teams of two to four work best, and we help you form one at kickoff. Pick one of the four tracks and go.

What should I bring?

Your laptop, charger, and whatever tools you build with. We provide the space, wifi, coffee, and pizza on judging night. A few of us are bringing Playful Studios swag and Lucky's Tale plushies for the crew.
